Father’s Day is just around the corner!
From the Ad Astra ring, to the White Cap ring, to the Doric ring, I have a number of sculptural, self-standing rings that are aimed at men.
Pictured is the Doric ring. Evoking a ‘slice’ of a Doric column, the Doric order was codified in the Italian Renaissance as the most masculine column style in Classical Architecture, and it even harkens back to Greece, as it is the order on the Parthenon.
As with all my designs, there is a starting point or meaning to the design, but many people see their own ‘thing’ in the design: Gearheads have seen gears in the Doric ring.
