Pediatric Dentistry

Your child’s dental care is very important to their health, confidence, and overall well-being.  An early, solid relationship with their oral health care provider is paramount.  Ideally, your child’s first visit should be before the age of two.  This visit is a quick screen to identify dental issues, early on.  Thereafter, it is recommended children be seen for their complete exam and 1st cleaning at the age of three.

The new patient exam and cleaning at the age of three is a fun experience for children at Bloor West Dental.  They are introduced to “Mr. Thirsty”, “Mr. Tickle” and “Phant”, the worlds’ smallest dental elephant ?? Their visit is concluded by a trip to the treasure chest where you child is able to choose a toy for letting us help them at their first visit. Lastly, we take your child’s picture to add to our ‘Wall of Smiles’, with pride!
