Nitrous Oxide/Laughing Gas

Does a visit to the dentist cause you angst?  We offer nitrous oxide, more commonly known as laughing gas, to our adult patients to help them feel more comfortable.  From time to time, we also recommend this for our pediatric patients to help ease the stress of visiting the dentist.   We recommend no food or drink two hours prior to the appointment.  Once your treatment is completed, you walk out the door without any side effects or traces of the nitrous oxide.
