How can you tell if an egg is good or bad? Sink or swim! Fill a container with cold water and place your egg in it. If it sinks to the bottom and lays flat on it's side, it is fresh. If it is a few weeks old but still good to eat, it'll stand on one end at the bottom of the bowl. If it floats to the surface, it is BAD. SHARE if you found this helpful!
